Shopping spree

Went on a shopping spree for my running attires and shoes since the offer (till 21 May 2006) from New Balance with 40% discount on all items at their boutique stores. Just cannot resist such offers and my temptations grew even higher. And since I have always been on the lookout for a better pair of running shoes and also a pair of All-Terrain shoes, or is it just an excuse. And guess what, these are what I have purchased for myself. Got myself two pieces of dry-fit Tees and two pair of shoes.

Wiffy is making comments that she still dont understand why I need so many pair of shoes. I told her I am giving her a run for the money in terms of the number of pairs of shoes that we both have. AHAHAH!!!!!

I will make sure I will put them in good use.........

the buying is all about excuses. trust me. i've got 6 pairs to boast. hehehe. wife just shakes her head when i told her that although the upper looks good, the midsoles are already dead. then she replied, how come i'm so expert abt shoes. to which i replied "now only you know meh?". in the beginners' group, i'm also providing sermons on shoe buying.

carboman: yes i think its more of excuses than anything else, but if it make one feels good, who cares...

lifemou: i hope u dont treat ur car tyres like u treat ur shoes. yes nike is a shoe and is a yuppy shoe. olman like me is not going to fork out $$$ to pay 4 their mktg adverts on megastar celebrities and charged the cost on consumer like YOU. dont be a sucker.....

Note: btw i hv bad experience on nike shoes, so no more for me.

carboman: did eugene lee n son turn up last saturday for the running clinic

yes they did! they're fit enough to do 2 laps. from what i gathered they've not done 10k b4 so their plans to run the penang bridge half/full seem a little ambitious. even though they've conquered mt kk, running is a bit different. their legs are strong but the conditioning is different. but if they're still game for it, they can always get advice from you or me.

hey isnt the yellow one Mr Wong's shoe? hehe

Nike sux...

and Yi Xi is a swimmer...i reckon he's as fit as can be. If PADE's training is anyhow like Stingray's training, then he'd be as fast as my brother. They both swim long distances so im guessing stamina is not a problem. co my brother is really good. Probably have to know how to pace himself.
