Malaysia scraps plan to use indelible ink in election
(Kyodo) _ Malaysia's Election Commission decided Tuesday to scrap the use of indelible ink that was supposed to make its debut in Saturday's general election, citing public order and security issues.Election Commission Chairman Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman said that legally, the commission cannot bar a person whose fingernail has been marked with the ink or one who refuses to have his or her nail marked, from casting their vote.
"The Federal Constitution gives you the right to vote, and a black mark on your fingernail should not bar you from exercising this right," he was quoted as saying by the Star daily in its web edition.
Q: Why didn't the EC thot of this before making a decision and make a public announcement. How can the gomen ie BARISAN NASIONAL allowed all these mockeries of errors to happen, setting the wrong expectation, and creating another scam to make some money out of it and fund the election campaign.
And just 3 days before der RAKYAT of Malaysia go to vote, BN had once again showed us how they can overturn a decision made earlier. These truely proves that the whole gomen is basically exposing themselves of their weaknesses and making big blunders when making a decision in the way we vote. They can just turn it around and give you stupid excuses of this and that, blah blah blah....the making of AAB, C4 man, Sami Ular, those MCA YES man, etc.
For whatever WTF reasons is going to be, my vote is to PKR, DAP, PAS, and even an Independent party. BN go fly kites!!!

The reason they give is that rural folks may be cheated (based on a few cases reported, must have be done by their own actors!) into applying the ink on their fingures before they go to the poll station.
what kind lame excuse is that? They think we still live on tree tops or what that we can't figure out how the appplication of the ink should work.
The truth is I'm afraid very ugly. If the Mongolian entry records can be deleted at will, so also many thousands ICs can also be produced. Ie. a BN voter can actually carry many ICs with different names but with the same face and go and vote in many places and they sure look legitimate.
Come election day you will see bus loads of such BN voters bringing down opposition strong holds. LKS will be a prime target.
Now we understand why they tear this Abdul rashid's photo. He has to be the MAN of this 12th GE - the DIRTY MAN. What a sick person he is!
These is so blardy OBVIOUS!!!! This Rashid fellar is another scapegoat of BN, just like Razak Baginda on the blasting of the Mongolian gal. So so DIRTY.
NST just reported today that EC had spent RM2.4m for the ink and now it wont be use at all in the Election. EC said they will dispose the ink via barter trade. My Q is who on earth will buy the ink. Even if someone will to buy it, the country had oredi suffered a big loss!!!
What a big blunder. How can the gomen tolerate blunders after blunders made by this idiot Abdul Rashid. No wonder ppl vandalised his home with RED PAINT. Serve him right.
I think the paint job is done by their own ppl to stir up a dust la.
What else can you expect from a DIRTYMAN???

How can we citizens let EC get away with such a lame excuse?!
Now with no ink, the phantom voters are coming!
