Owen the anonymous
Newcastle striker Michael Owen spent most of his homecoming to Liverpool (on Boxing Day - 26th Dec 2005) watching the team he left produce a display of crushing efficiency in a 2-0 home win. Owen barely got a kick against Jamie Carragher and had plenty of time to view how effective his former club have become as they continue a superb winning run.
Poor Michael Owen - He won't have sang the Anfield Anthem "YOU NEVER WALK ALONE"
